Storyville Jazz Bandwas formed in Szeged in 1997. Their music, simirarly to their names, evokes the atmosphere of new Orleans of the 1900-1920s, since the music known as ragtime, dixieland which was the basis of future jazz music was born in the entertaining quarter of this city, called Storyville.
They have a colorful repertoire. Being faithful to their name, they made up their pieces from traditional and revival top hits of the style, thus also evoking the atmosphere of the place and the time. They are popular guests of inland festivals and concert stages.
