The band was set up in 2002. It was founded by Kornél Kurina and Frankie Látó. It exists as a formation of a duo (violin, guitar), a trio (violin, guitar, doublebass), a quartette (violin, two guitars and doublebass) and a quintette (violin, two guitars, doublebass and drums). They play together with home and foreign guest artists permanently. May it sound in any of the above formations, basically it reflects the atmosphere of „Hot Club d’France” created by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli and the euphonic world of the French swing style. The continuously vigilant rhythm, the instinctive and graceful elocution grips the audience throughout the performance.
All their formations have been very popular at jazz concerts and festivals since they gave a concert in Hungarian Radio’s Marble Hall, as a part of the Budapest jazz violin-concreto in 2006.
