Kálmán Balogh and the Gipsy Dulcimer Band's music is a great encounter of several musical arts. It can be described by terms of high level chamber music, impromptu, graceful and also cheerful elocution. It's a spontaneous journey across geographical borders and musical arts. This way Hungarian folk songs appear to be performed in latin- style rhythm or Moldavian hora happens to be performed as one of modern dances. Moreover, Hatshaturian's Sworddance as an overwhelming warpdance, or Bulgarian hora as a piece of jazz composition.

Kálmán Balogh's diverse musical adventures are reflected in Gipsy Dulcimer Band. This band is unique to combine different styles.
